WORKSHOP / INTERMEDIATE

CSS LAYOUTS

A hands-on session focusing entirely on Grid and Flexbox. Discover how to control spatial distribution and build complex layouts that scale perfectly on any device.

MASTERING SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION

Moving elements around a screen used to be one of the most frustrating aspects of web design. Today, CSS offers powerful layout models like Flexbox and Grid that make structuring complex, responsive interfaces logical and reliable.

In this intermediate workshop, we bypass basic colors and typography to focus purely on layout mechanics. You will build common UI components—such as navigation bars, card grids, and holy grail layouts—understanding exactly how browsers interpret spatial relationships.

What We Will Cover

  • Flexbox Fundamentals: Managing 1-dimensional layouts, alignment, and distributing space evenly.
  • CSS Grid: Constructing 2-dimensional structures, spanning rows and columns, and defining grid areas.
  • Responsive Principles: Transitioning between layout models seamlessly using media queries.
  • Common Patterns: Building out real-world layout challenges from scratch.
